16+ years of experience as an international lawyer and tax advisor. Steffen has many years of experience in industry (Global Head of International Tax, Indirect Tax and Customs at a leading medical device manufacturer) and in tax consulting (Senior Manager at Deloitte) in Europe and Asia. Due to his professional dual qualification as a lawyer and tax advisor, his competencies lie in particular in the interface consulting between customs, transfer pricing and VAT, as well as in the area of tax and customs procedural law.
Steffen has successfully passed the expert exams for tax laws as well as for customs and excise duties.
